A annex related to cabin located on the same site. The request was to built an Bolundare, a complementary living of 30m2, to provide more space and room for a family of 3 generations. The annex is situated on the border of the plot close to trees, bushes and a small stream. From the start it was important to maintain these conditions and make as little impact on the existing grounds. The annex is therefore lifted and sits on 9 pillars. It has a central chimney and a small toilet, besides that the floor plan is open to inhabit as needed, providing a flexible use for the coming years, for all generations. It is built with local timber and treated with black Slamfärg (Falu rödfärg) as the main cabin on the same site.
