The House of Fairytales should be a place where fantasy meets reality, past meets future and exterior meets interior. The fairytales should be a point of departure for a complex yet coherent attraction. It should appeal to children and adults equally, independent from cultural background, language and former knowledge about H.C. Andersen´s life and work. Our proposal is based on four architectural ideas concerning; the garden, the city, the amphi and the journey.
